How to Use a Springform Cake Pan

Step 1: Begin by unlatching the pan and removing the base. Set the pan base on your countertop or another flat surface. The pan base must be on a flat surface to ensure it assembles correctly.

Step 2: Now take the outer ring of the pan (with latch fully open) and set it down so it surrounds the pan base.

Step 3: Close the pan latch and make sure the edge of the pan base is aligned with groove on the outer ring.

Step 4: Important note – Even if the pan is assembled properly, it still may leak while adding ingredients or cooking. We strongly recommend wrapping the outside of the pan with 1-2 layers of tin foil to contain any leaks during the cooking process.

Step 5: Grease the pan with cooking spray or butter OR cut a piece of parchment paper to line the bottom of the pan.

Step 6: Now you can add your desired cooking ingredients to the pan.

Step 7: Bake per your recipe’s instructions. Our cake pans can be used in a pressure cooker or a traditional oven.

Step 8: After baking, remove the cake pan from the oven or pressure cooker. Then take a spatula (or another dull cooking utensil to avoid scratching the pan) and slide it around the edge of cake to loosen the edges from the pan.

Step 9: Release the latch and carefully lift the outer ring of the pan off the base. Your cake is now ready to enjoy!

Cleaning Instructions for Springform Cake Pans

Hand washing with dish soap and warm water is the best method to ensure the longevity of your cake pan. Remove the pan base from the outer ring before cleaning. They are also dishwasher-safe if needed. Set out to air dry – keep both pieces separate until fully dried.
